Major Anju Bala Singh served for over 15 years in the Indian Army, undertaking operational assignments in Jammu and Kashmir and several northeastern states including Arunachal Pradesh and Assam. Her responsibilities included counter-insurgency operations, crisis coordination, and security management in challenging environments. She also participated in United Nations peacekeeping missions in Congo and Sudan, contributing to multinational operational logistics and humanitarian support efforts.
